Good morning all, undefeated in 4 don't think we will do a Villa or a Ratched, they have lots of injuries so if we play like we have been playing there is no reason we can't get something out of this game

I went up to Anfield last season, mainly for the black balloon protest, but also to support the team to what was sure to be a defeat, or so most of us believed. We did eventually lose, but we gave them their toughest game of the season according to their support, and after we took a 2-1 lead, they only got back into it with the help of two clangers from Fabianski, who was normally our most trusted player.

Checking back, I'm reminded that we lost Soucek to injury early in the second half; he was still settling in to the team back then, anyway, so not quite the beast he has been of late.

Even without Antonio, we can do this.

If we get something in out of this game I might start to believe.

But we won't. The loss of Antonio, the Scouse luck and the hugely Liverpool biased officials will make this the standard Lawro 2-0 at least. 2 or 3 nil to them.

I'm certain we're getting nothing out of this game.

Can see a late goal for Liverpool or a dubious VAR decision giving them the match. Given the run of matches we've been on, we've fared better than I thought and shown we can play a bit so regardless of todays game that is encouraging.
Any points today though would be really positive.

There no 'Friend' refs when it comes to playing Liverpool. Even VAR could be 'open to interpretation' when it comes to them and lucky decisions.

Anyway, expectation where it usually is for a trip to Anfield but as always part of me hopes we can pull something off. There's no pressure on this so lets at least be positive and give them a game.

Without Antonio the system of play we have been using is unlikely to be as effective. Haller has to be able to hold it up rather than just nodding on to no one. But he ain’t shown he can do that.

I will be pleased if we can as in the last 4 or 5 games, give them a game. Seen so many limp displays up there over the years. We will find it hard to get much today despite their injuries but let’s compete at least. Draw at best same as last week
